Simon is the MD of Thompson
Partnership. He has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He has an
Honours Degree in Business Computing (UMIST), is a Member of the British
Computer Society and a Chartered IT Professional.
He has worked in a variety of organisations from small, five person businesses
through to a global group with approximately fifteen thousand employees. He has
worked in a number of business sectors including Local Authority, Software
Houses, computer dealerships, Manufacturing and IT Consultancy.
He has managed numerous IT projects, including implementing ERP Systems in small
and medium sized businesses and implementing IT Infrastructure. The largest
project involved implementing a Windows NT system in a multinational company,
over thirty sites in eight European countries with two thousand users. This
included data security, license control, remote access, virus protection and
reducing administration.
Simon has received training and experience in MRP II/ERP, Accounting Systems,
Micross, SAP, EFACS, Opera II, Operations II, Mamut, Microsoft Server and Small
Business Server 2003, Active Directory, Networking, Programming, Delphi, FoxPro
and Helpdesk/Customer Relations.
Simon
provides independent Business Consultancy and IT Advice to
SME’s through the
Scottish Enterprise.

Michael Stone Btech, MSc, CCNA

Michael is an IT Consultant in
Thompson Partnership.
He has a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, an MSc
in Information Technology and is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
He has over 25 years experience in the IT industry working in sectors including
Technology Supply, Banking, Insurance and Finance, Criminal Justice,
Manufacturing & Telecommunications.
Recently, he has majored on infrastructure support in client-server environments
including all versions of Windows, running a mix of standard office and email
applications as well as bespoke systems. He has experience with Ethernet local
area and wireless networking and with token ring and ATM.
He has planned and administered telephony systems including key systems in a
chain of travel agents, telephone networks for a Scottish bank and call centers
for a life assurance company.

Lidia Thompson BSc (Hons), PGCE
Trainer, Director
Lidia is Thompson Partnership's Trainer. She has an Honours
degree in Physics and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
Lidia's early experience is as a teacher. She began commercial training by
teaching Courses in Lotus Notes.
Her main area of expertise is in training on Mamut Business Software. She was
trained by the Mamut Training Academy for resellers and provides both formal
courses and end-user training and demonstrations.
Lidia was recently involved in
training for the largest Mamut implementation in Europe to-date.

Andy Roberts
Business Development Manager
Andy has 27 years experience in the IT industry having spent the
first 16 years in Field Engineering and Technical Support and a further 11 years
in Account Management. For 5 years his efforts were focused in data storage as
an IBM Data Management Professional.
He has Higher City & Guilds in Electronics (Credit) and
Computing (Distinction).
His extensive experience in the industry, coupled with his personal integrity,
qualify him well in adding value to the high standards that Thompson Partnership
sets for itself in conducting business.
